As many of you know, I am leashed (to dear Katherine). I have a BlackBerry Tour 9630. In December, I am eligible for an upgrade. I'm thinking of the Droid Eris (for Verizon). Any feedback is appreciated.
Addendum: Jack Brickwell asked some good questions in his comment, so let me elaborate. When I bought the BlackBerry Tour 9630, I didn't know anything about cellphones. I assumed they were all alike. As it turns out, web pages don't look right on my BlackBerry. I've seen other cellphones in which web pages look the way they do on my desktop computer (or close to it). I also like the touch screen of the Droid Eris. The BlackBerry has a little ball in it for navigation. Finally, the Droid Eris has a five-megapixel camera, as opposed to my BlackBerry's 3.2-megapixel camera. In short, the Droid Eris does everything the BlackBerry Tour 9630 does and more. I saw a couple of other Droid models in the Verizon store this afternoon, but the Eris had a better feel to it. Perhaps there will be an even better model by December.
Addendum 2: I like this cellphone, which Jack recommended. Does the Incredible supersede the Eris?
