I shake my head in wonder at the sheer dishonesty of many New York Times editorial opinions. There is no pretense of fairness. Relevant facts are omitted; events and actions are distorted so as to make progressives look good and conservatives bad; motives and character are impugned; and the reasoning leaves a great deal to be desired. In short, they read like propaganda tracts rather than serious contributions to public discourse. I'm not the only person to have noticed. (Thanks to Mark Spahn for the link.)
