Ronald Dworkin purports to be a philosopher, but he has no philosophical training, credentials, or aptitude. (He's a lawyer.) Several years ago, Maimon Schwarzschild criticized Dworkin's "relentless spin." Here is the latest spin. Dworkin and his fellow progressives may admire and respect Barack Obama, but most Americans do not. (If you don't believe me, look at the approval ratings.) They now understand that Obama is alien, incompetent, dishonest, and pusillanimous. I am confident that they will throw him out on his ear in 2012, just as they threw Jimmy Carter out in 1980 and George H. W. Bush out in 1992.
