Pres-Elect Trump means well. But won't his 35% tariff idea raise prices on American families? How would it not be a new 35% tax on families?

Ben Sasse is either stupid or dishonest, or some ungodly combination of the two. Of course certain consumer products will cost more as a result of the increased tariff. That's the down side. The up side is that Americans will be employed. Free trade has been a disaster for this country.
