Here is Conrad Black's latest column. Donald Trump should treat journalists with the contempt they deserve. They did everything they could, including lie, to keep him from being elected, and now they are doing everything they can, including lie, to keep him from being successful. It won't work. As Rush Limbaugh is fond of saying, if journalists don't create you, they can't destroy you. One more thing. President Trump should call out dishonest journalists by name. Why not? They're not disinterested purveyors of information, as they profess to be; they're players. They're in the arena. You can't enter the arena and then complain when you get smashed in the mouth.
Addendum: Barack Obama got the benefit of the doubt from journalists. Donald Trump gets the detriment of the doubt. Journalists put the best spin on everything Obama said. They put the worst spin on everything Trump says. Obama was assumed to have good motives. Trump is assumed to have bad motives. That's how bias works.
