If Donald Trump is reelected president in 2020, as seems likely, Republicans will have won seven of 11 elections (63.6%) and nine of 14 (64.2%). Can you say "dominance"? When you consider that Barack Obama was elected because of his skin color (many whites voted for him because they felt guilty for being white), the dominance is even greater. President Trump's second Supreme Court appointment (following Neil Gorsuch) will give the Court a law-abiding majority for at least 10 years. A third appointment will ensure that this country remains as it was founded for at least 30 years, by which time I will be in my 90s. I'm going to enjoy my retirement, not least because I will get to watch progressives (including progressive law professors) act like petulant children. Is there anything more enjoyable?
