Only an idiot or an ideologue (or both) would either watch CNN or read the New York Times or the Washington Post. These "news" organizations are determined to destroy the Trump presidency and will stop at nothing to do so. Here's how they proceed:
- Report as truth what a disgruntled government employee says, without identifying the employee.
- Report that the Trump administration denies the report.
- Imply that the Trump administration is lying.
- Refuse to correct the report when the truth comes out.
- Move on to the next "scandal."
Is it any wonder that journalists rank below used-car salesmen in terms of public confidence? As for why "news" organizations are desperate to destroy Trump, the answer is simple: He despises them; he mocks them; he knows their game. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned or a journalist held in contempt by a politician. President Trump is playing the media like a violin, and they know it. This only adds to their hatred of him. As Rush Limbaugh is fond of saying, Trump lives rent-free in their heads. Me? I'm enjoying the show. Watching Trump romp is as much fun as watching Mike Trout play baseball, Peter Sagan ride a bicycle, and Eddie Van Halen play guitar.
