I watched every minute of James Comey's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee yesterday. Comey came across as a self-important schoolmarm. I believe he was trying to entrap Donald Trump and bring down Trump's presidency. I hope Trump has audiotapes of their White House conversations so that the nation can see (i.e., hear) what a liar and a creep Comey is. The Washington establishment will do everything in its power to keep Trump from draining the swamp. What the elites don't realize is that Trump is five steps ahead of them. Addendum: CNN has a vendetta against Trump. (See here for details.) I see it night after night, week after week, month after month. I keep asking myself, "How can these 'journalists,' who were trained to ferret out and present the truth, hate someone so much that they lie about him?" It's an amazing spectacle. Everything Trump says is distorted (and things he hasn't said fabricated) so as to make him look bad (or worse, criminal). Nobody should ever doubt that CNN is an organ of the Left, and we know that to leftists, the end justifies the means. Lie, cheat, steal—whatever it takes—to achieve your goals. CNN's goal is to destroy Trump the person and Trump the president. I console myself with the fact that Trump is far more intelligent than anyone who works at or for CNN. He is currently running rings around the network, which, come to think of it, may be why CNN's people hate him so much.
