Here are highlights from Stage 8 of the Criterium du Dauphine (in France). This was the final stage. Danish cyclist Jakob Fuglsang began the day 1:15 behind the leader, Australian (Tasmanian) cyclist Richie Porte. Fuglsang beat Porte by 1:15. Chris Froome, who lay second overall at the start of today's stage, didn't do well. By winning the stage, Fuglsang earned 10 bonus seconds, so he was the overall winner as well, by 10 seconds. Porte finished second. I watched the race live this morning on NBC Sports Gold (on my computer). It was fantastic.
