I recently acquired this documentary mini-series on DVD. It was first shown on television in 1990. I own the fully restored 25th anniversary edition, which was released in 2015. Although I have seen snippets of the series over the years (while channel-surfing), I have never watched it straight through. Katherine and I watched Episode 1 this past Monday and have eight episodes to go.
