I was flabbergasted to read Mary Ann Meloy’s Sept. 3 Perspectives piece (“The Candidate Reveals Herself”). Was she actually talking about Hillary Clinton when she stated that “Diplomats do not wallow in self-pity and personal grievance,” but “are supposed to be models of cool detachment . . . state cogent arguments . . . and make rational judgments based on facts”? As if Donald Trump could do any of those things no matter how hard he tried.
Ms. Clinton lost the election, yes, but we still don’t have the answers to how much the Russians were involved in stealing this election for Mr. Trump. Ms. Meloy should be embarrassed to try and attack Ms. Clinton while the fool in the White House continues to cry that he’s a victim of the media and to bully anyone who doesn’t agree with him.
