It's the first day of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. The weather in North Texas is still summerlike, but it can't last much longer. Once the heat breaks, we'll have about eight months (October through May) of mild weather. It's not as though I ride my bike only part of the year. I ride year 'round, whatever the weather. I like the old saying that there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.
