This afternoon, while working at the computer, I had CNN on in my study (about five feet to my right). It's mind-boggling how many anchors, reporters, analysts, and commentators mentioned President Trump's tweeting. They hate it! I'm convinced that the tweets, more than anything else about the Trump administration, drive these people batty. But why?

Here's my theory. Journalists are used to setting the agenda. They can't do this when President Trump tweets, which he does every day, like clockwork. He forces them not only to attend to what he says, but to try to find fault with it. Day after day after day after day. Deep down, they know that they are reacting rather than acting, and they hate it. Indeed, they hate themselves for being addicted to his tweets. President Trump has journalists wrapped around his finger. Or, to use Rush Limbaugh's metaphor, Trump lives rent-free in their heads.

I love this president.
