It has become apparent to me that President Donald Trump’s leadership is based upon his skill as a bully. He knows it, and he shows it by saying: “I can do anything I want!” (For example, he gropes, he insults, he says he can stand in the middle of the street and “shoot somebody and . . . wouldn’t lose any voters.”)
We tell our kids to stand up to the schoolyard bully. We have to elect a Congress to stand up to the White House bully. If we don’t, we have accepted a one-man dictatorship to replace our 200-year-old democracy. Shame on us.
