Here I am this morning, wearing my new cycling jersey. Click to enlarge. Today's 40.6-mile ride gives me 689.3 miles for the month and 1,720.9 for the year. I'm 79.1 miles behind schedule as far as my goal of 20 miles per day (7,300 for the year) is concerned. I'll make them up in the summer, when I have no teaching duties. The weather today, apart from a howling southerly wind, was delightful. I had a ball.
