Why are we so upset with Facebook? It was the Donald Trump presidential campaign that hired Cambridge Analytica—a British company, not American—that misused Facebook access. Yes, Facebook needs to fix some things, and Mark Zuckerberg has agreed to do so. Facebook admitted mistakes and is stepping up. Trump and Cambridge Analytica are doing nothing, but they are the ones who are corrupt.
