Much of the world was transfixed last weekend by the royal wedding in Windsor, England. The pageantry, scenery, music, flowers, up-tempo sermon by the U.S. Episcopal bishop, the ubiquitous ladies’ hats and so much more were such a wonderful, welcoming, uplifting change in daily life.
Maybe the greatest joy of all was the almost total absence or silence of tweets, headlines in newspapers and stories on television of or about the principal occupant of the White House.
Hats off and hip, hip, hurrah to the British royal family!
