Popular columnist and Nobel prize winner in economics, Paul Krugman, wrote an op-ed in the New York Times in 2016, days after President Trump was elected. In his usual bellicose style, he issued a dire warning about a major global recession “with no end in sight,” because such a stooge was elected. Many of us thought the new president should be given a chance. Now two years later, the US economy has grown at the fastest pace in nearly four years. There are supposedly more jobs than people to fill them! The expansion is broad based. Consumer spending is up, exports are surging and businesses are again investing. Krugman should issue an apology (and explanation) to his readers, for his malicious economic predictions that were so incredibly off the mark.

Note from KBJ: The deranged person in this instance is not the letter writer but Bush-Hatin' Paul Krugman. I haven't read Krugman in years, but he's apparently just as intellectually dishonest as ever.
