A few days ago, Katherine and I watched the second film in the Max Max franchise: The Road Warrior (1981). The production values of this film were much better than those of the first. The back of the DVD says that Road Warrior (a.k.a. Mad Max 2) is “one of the most mind-blowing stunt movies ever made,” and I would have to agree. I wonder how many people were injured during the filming. If you like dialogue or complicated plots, this is not the movie for you. But if you like pure escapism and non-stop action, you’ll like this one.
