The Donald Trump regime is a train wreck, anyway you slice it. His followers are so frustrated, ill-informed, unread and/or bigoted that they’ll buy anything he says, even when he contradicts himself a week, a day, an hour later. First Mexico was going to pay for the wall, no ifs, ands, or buts. Now Mexico will pay “indirectly” for “steel slats.”

Five billion dollars would help rebuild our national infrastructure, which civil engineers gave a D+ rating several years ago, and it’s hardly improved with age. Just as Donald Trump did absolutely nothing but receive money and property from his dad while playing businessman and going bankrupt six times, swindling 6,000 students of his online real estate “university,” stiffing hundreds of American contractors and subcontractors, incurring debt to Russians and needing rich Saudis to buy his family’s overpriced properties, so has he done absolutely nothing as president, other than cage babies and take credit for a continuation of the Obama economy, which is now faltering. But Donald Trump continues his slogans, jetting around the nation in search of half-empty high school gyms of red-hatted supporters for photo ops, playing to the very people he’s screwing, and there’s no more to say on that score that George Will, Capt. Sully Sullenberger, or General Jim Mattis haven’t.
