Here’s a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s fellow Democrats regarding her position on impeachment: President Trump may be not just the worst president in the history of this country, but the worst president anyone in U.S. history ever imagined.
Nevertheless, the people who put him in office are our fellow Americans. They are still here, they still vote, and they still like Trump. Impeaching Trump would pretty much guarantee they would vote for a telephone pole rather than a Democrat in 2020. Democrats should be reaching out to these voters on whatever wavelength they think might work because outvoting them in 2020 just might not.
