The seemingly endless outpouring of President Trump’s invective-charged tweets in recent days (“Trump’s Twitter tirade shows an unhinged president,” BostonGlobe.com, March 19), noted particularly for an indecent treatment of the late Senator John McCain, underscores the sad and inescapable reality that we continue to be subjected to the whims of a president who expends far too much energy stoking division and fear through daily tirades and rants directed at anyone real or imagined who he views as a personal threat, enemy, or source of conflict.
In the beginning of this administration there was criticism of some Trump critics who offered arm’s-length analysis of the president’s behavior and psychological state and its impact on his fitness for office.
By his abusive use of Twitter as his major form of expression, Trump himself builds a case for an unhinged presidency and the widespread national unease that gains validity by the day.

Note from KBJ: I can see why you don’t want President Trump to use Twitter, Roger. You don’t want him to defend himself from creeps like you. Get a life!
