As someone who grew up in Paris, I was sad to learn that the city’s historic Notre Dame Cathedral was damaged by a fire. I was also angered to read President Trump’s suggestion to use flying water tankers to put out this fire.
Paris firefighters, who are trained to deal with such situations, surely don’t need this American president’s advice. In fact, if Trump’s idea had been put into action, the entire roof of the cathedral might have collapsed.
In the future, Trump should tweet about topics with which he is familiar: playing golf, watching Fox News and eating fast food.
