Shame on President Trump for honoring the 2019 men’s college football champion Clemson team and the 2019 women’s college basketball champion Baylor team with junk food during their respective White House visits. What example is this overweight chief executive sending to our country’s youth: that athletic excellence should be rewarded with burgers and fries? The champions of Baylor and Clemson deserved more nutritious food than the president’s favorites from Wendy’s, McDonald’s and Burger King.
