Freedom is what our men gave their lives for on Normandy and Iwo Jima, and it is why our men and women in the services today sacrifice their lives. Freedom is what dictators cannot tolerate. President Donald Trump loves dictators and has now actually started to practice rule by one man by defying the constitutional powers of Congress.
His attack on the free press and the courts is the avenue to absolute power that dictators pursue. It is up to the 60% of the country that understand this attack to guarantee that our young men and women are not dying in vain. Many of the 40% that follow Mr. Trump are my neighbors and good friends. It is now time for all citizens to come together to protect our freedom. Dictators and freedom never go together.
