After Sen. Hugh Scott listened to the hate-filed rhetoric of his fellow Republican Richard Nixon, this leader realized that he needed to be act.
When will U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., find courage to confront the white nationalist movement and his fellow Republican, President Donald Trump, who stokes so much hate? (In case you have any doubt, watch Mr. Trump at his rally in Florida when he smiled and laughed as the crowd cheered the idea of shooting immigrants at the border.)
Mr. Toomey needs to reach inside his moral core and speak to this threat to our civility, a threat that comes from the leader of his party and the racist groups who promote such violence.
