Regarding “Not impressed by Biden” (Letters, Sept. 17): I share the writer’s concerns, but I don’t understand why everyone keeps talking about which Democrat might do best “in a debate with President Trump.” Why on Earth would Trump participate in a rational, fact-based presidential debate? He will not. If he were to do so, he would—as always—lie, whine, rant, ramble, and say “fake news,” in which case either anyone can beat him or no one can, depending on what percentage of the American people remains tethered to reality.
