After reading “Beijing showcases its military might at parade” (Oct. 2), which describes how China’s Communist Party marked 70 years in power with a parade featuring nuclear missiles designed to evade U.S. defenses, a supersonic attack drone and fighter jets flying over spectators, my immediate reaction was this: President Trump must be pea-green with envy.
