It’s both disappointing and unsurprising to read “Newseum to close” (News of the Day, Business, Oct. 4). This Washington, D.C., museum dedicated to journalism and the First Amendment surely experienced some financial problems after nearly three years of a certain Oval Office occupant trashing the media as the enemy of the people.
It also wouldn’t be surprising if our authoritarian-minded tweeter-in-chief reacts to this story by writing: “Good riddance, Fake-Newseum.”
