Regarding “Trump’s candid corruption” (Editorial, Oct. 19): Now that our corrupt president’s crimes and lies have been exposed for all to see, I for one repudiate the dishonorable and insulting suggestion from his supporters that I or any American of integrity, “Get over it.”
Getting over it for us isn’t an option because that would mean the un-American and unthinkable result of getting away with it for him. Getting over it would also require selling our souls to condone his criminality, betraying the legacy of our founders and ignoring his assaults on our fundamental institutions and values.
No, instead I urge all loyal Americans with a conscience to do the exact opposite, thank you very much, and stand together to defend this country against the threats that his abuses of power and disloyalty represent to our Constitution and our democracy.

Note from KBJ: Stop projecting your corruption and criminality onto President Trump, Philip.
