Regarding “Trump gets it done” (Letters, Dec. 18): When American voters go to cast ballots for president in 2020, I doubt (as this letter writer believes) that they will view President Trump as simply a politician doing his job.
And while Trump supporters point to this president having engaged North Korea on nuclear weapons, Mexico on illegal immigration and NATO’s reluctance to pay its fair share of dues, his millions of detractors (myself included) see an obstreperous bully who has diminished this nation’s stature in the global community and damaged its alliances by insulting world leaders.
He has also, not surprisingly, exponentially increased this nation’s politically polarized environment by rejecting our three coequal branches system of government, attacking the free press, and childishly trying to diminish his opponents with name-calling (like Nervous Nancy Pelosi). After three long years of this constant drama, I’m ready to vote for a change in the Oval Office.

Note from KBJ: We're respected again by other nations, Xavier. That's one reason why we're going to re-elect President Trump. You'll get your "change in the Oval Office" five years from now.
