Isn’t it ironic that President Donald Trump is blaming—his favorite activity besides bullying—the World Health Organization for poor guidance and downplaying the severity of coronavirus.

Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, R-Peters, and other Republicans are actually sponsoring a resolution to withhold funding to the WHO (April 8, “Reschenthaler Moves to Block Funds to WHO”). The Republican power grabbers, who sell their souls to support Mr. Trump and his lies, will be remembered in history as evil fools.

How many videos of Mr. Trump lying and ignoring the pandemic, claiming his greatness and control, did they not see? Wouldn’t it be great if these representatives did something helpful to the American people instead of politicizing and kissing up to Mr. Trump?

Mr. Trump and his supporters helped create this crisis, which has cost thousands of Americans their lives. It is extremely sad and revolting.

Note from KBJ: With all due respect, Lynne, either you don't know what a lie is (in which case you're stupid) or you're lying about President Trump being a liar (in which case you're vile). In order to lie, one must (1) utter a sentence (orally or in writing) (2) that one believes, at the time of utterance, to be false, and (3) do so with the specific intent to deceive one or more others.

Calling someone a liar is a serious charge, is it not? Because of this, one must be prepared to back up the charge with evidence. (How would you like to be called a liar?)

Prove that President Trump satisfies the definition I provided. First, quote him accurately, in context, with a full citation to your source(s). Second, provide evidence that, at the time of utterance, he believed the sentence to be false. (You have no direct access to his or anyone else's mind, so you must provide adequate evidence from which the belief may be inferred, as in a court of law where the defendant's mental state is an element of the offense.) Third, provide evidence that, at the time of utterance, he specifically intended to deceive someone. (Again, you have no direct access to his or anyone else's mind, so you must provide adequate evidence from which the intention may be inferred.) Unless you can do all of these things, you should shut up.
