I think it is quite appropriate that President Trump has named his program to develop a vaccine for the novel coronavirus by the end of this year “Warp Speed,” because, like its namesake from the “Star Trek” series, it is pure science fiction, lacking any basis in reality, designed solely for the entertainment of his intended audience.
