Everyone's talking about police reform. Allow me a suggestion. How many of you have received a Mickey Mouse driving citation? I've had two tickets in 31 years of driving, and both were ridiculous. The officers in question were obviously trying to raise money for their cities.

My reform is simple: All monies raised through traffic citations go to charities. The city must get its money the honest way: by taxing its citizens.

How does this bear on the problem of police racism? I suspect that many racial incidents are caused by officers pulling people over for Mickey Mouse offenses. I was livid when I was pulled over (both times). Had I been black, who knows what the officer would have done to me? What do you think?

P.S.: I'm not anti-police. I'm anti-abuse.
