August is in the books. Today's 39.1-mile ride gives me 620 miles for the month, which is an average of 20 miles per day. I've ridden 4,697.4 miles so far this year and am on track for 7,000. It was hot today. The heat index was 100 degrees when I left the house and 107 when I returned. In case you're wondering, I've driven my car less than 100 miles in the past five months. My dear Katherine goes out for necessities. We also have groceries and restaurant food delivered to the house. Life is good.
