After saying “I gave my best to you,” as I had promised, I sat on my RV's horn for a minute when President Biden completed the oath of office and officially became president of the United States. A neighbor, who is a Sul Ross University police officer, knocked on the door. She was worried something was wrong and needed help.
"No, Biden's been inaugurated," I said, and emotionally shared my promise with her. I took down my small Biden lawn sign when the ceremony was completed, once I was assured that Trump was no longer president. The bumper sticker on the rear tire cover of the RAV4 remains in-place.
