Yesterday evening, Katherine and I watched Some Kind of Heaven (2020) on Amazon Prime. The movie purports to be a documentary of life in the largest retirement community in the United States: The Villages, Florida. It was alternately sad, uplifting, funny, and confusing. The film maker follows one couple and two individuals around, showing what their lives are like. I came away thinking that I would not want to live in such a place. But maybe I'm too young to appreciate what it offers.
