Trek Domane 5.2I've ridden my bike 36 days in a row, which is a personal record. (I rode 35 days in a row this past November and December.) Three of the rides were just 12 miles in length (because of inclement weather); the rest were at least 20 miles long. Today's 22-mile ride gives me 7,068.2 miles for the past year, which is an average of 19.36 miles per day. My goal for 2021 is 7,300 miles (an average of 20 miles per day). That would make it my second-best riding year ever (since buying my first bike in 1981).

I've had my Trek Domane 5.2 for exactly eight years (2,922 days, counting leap days). During that time, I've pedaled 47,730.6 miles, which is an average of 16.33 miles per day, 114.3 miles per week, and 5,966.3 miles per year. I love my bike, but it rattles like a tambourine. People can hear me coming for 50 yards. I should probably invest in a new machine, which I can ride when the weather is good and the trails dry. I'll keep the Domane for inclement weather.
