The impeachment of President Trump is a problem for Trump, but more significantly it is an existential challenge for the Republican Party. This same party that impeached President Clinton (after a 4-year investigation caught him fibbing about marital infidelity) is now throwing their support behind a serial adulterer, a flim-flam man who lies as he breathes, and has now been caught red-handed colluding, yes, colluding, with a foreign government to help him in the 2020 election.

If the GOP stands for anything other than its own power, this is the test. The test begins now, and history will remember their answer.

I wish to publicly urge my representative, U.S. Rep. John Joyce, R-Blair County, and all representatives, to support impeaching President Donald Trump. He has abused his power and some of his business ventures have benefited from his role in office.

Mr. Trump has now been accused by a whistleblower of asking Ukrainian leaders to interfere with our election system by digging up dirt on his political opponents, and then Mr. Trump himself admitted—on camera—that the call took place (Sept. 25, “Impeachment Inquiry Starts”). These activities are impeachable offenses.
