  • Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she does not want to impeach President Trump, saying “he’s just not worth it” because impeachment would be too divisive. I respectfully disagree. This country is already too divisive as a result of Trump. This country is a being torn apart by the lawlessness of Trump, his administration and the Republicans in Congress who support him. Trump and the Republicans who are enabling him are guilty of nothing less than treason and we should call it that. The rule of law is being undermined at every turn. Good people of conscience are scared because we only see things getting worse. Trump may stay in power in 2020 through more nefarious actions. By refusing to impeach him, our Democratic leadership is abdicating its constitutional responsibility to hold this administration accountable and is complicit in the destruction Trump continues to create. My dad served with honor in the U.S. Army in World War II, surviving the D-Day invasion and liberating Europe. If he were alive today, he would be horrified to see our country becoming the same fascist, totalitarian dictatorship we fought so hard to defeat almost 75 years ago. Impeach and remove these traitors and restore our republic now!

  • ….Hoax. My campaign was being seriously spied upon by intel agencies and the Democrats. This never happened before in American history, and it all turned out to be a total scam, a Witch Hunt, that yielded No Collusion, No Obstruction. This must never be allowed to happen again!

  • 20030717 #1 Shelbie (as soon as she arrived) (eleven pounds)

This is Shelbie the day I brought her home from the Humane Society in July 2003. (Click to enlarge.) She was three months old. Today, after much agonizing, I put her to sleep. She was 16 years, one month old. She was a wonderful companion. I'll miss you, stinker.

  • To the editor:

The New York Times reported that, between 1985 and 1994, Donald Trump’s tax returns showed he had lost more than $1 billion as a private businessman.

This may cause those of us who thought Trump was one-dimensional to concede that he has some versatility. He is not only a failure politically as president—which everybody except his base knows—but now, it emerges, he was also a failure economically.

Give credit where credit is due.

  • I was NOT going to fire Bob Mueller, and did not fire Bob Mueller. In fact, he was allowed to finish his Report with unprecedented help from the Trump Administration. Actually, lawyer Don McGahn had a much better chance of being fired than Mueller. Never a big fan!
