  • Donald Trump's approval rating is 49%. Barack Obama's approval rating at the same point of his presidency (19 April 2011) was 48%.

  • More than 50 years ago, as a high school student, I chose to become peripherally involved when a fellow student stole a car. Quite appropriately, I was arrested, earned myself a criminal record, and was placed on probation. And though I was not sent to jail, was not expelled, and was not kicked off the athletic teams that meant the world to me, I did not celebrate the punishments I avoided. Rather, I was disgusted at my behavior and saddened at the pain I had caused my parents and others. In all of that, I believe I responded to a personal failure as most of us would have.

By contrast, many of us are now reading or hearing about the behavior of a man more than a half-century removed from his own high school years. For the last several years, this man consistently has chosen wrong over right, evil over good, deceit over honesty, hate over love, and self over others. It is a tale that none of us, if we are honest with ourselves, can read without feeling soiled by its contents.

However, unlike so many of us, this man has decided not to express regret or remorse for his bad behavior. Rather, he celebrates that he has lost neither money nor power nor office. From beginning to end, the portions of the Mueller report we have been permitted to read remind us again that our president is not now, nor has he ever been, fit to lead any of us.

  • Despite the fact that the Mueller Report should not have been authorized in the first place & was written as nastily as possible by 13 (18) Angry Democrats who were true Trump Haters, including highly conflicted Bob Mueller himself, the end result is No Collusion, No Obstruction!
