  • When a kidnapper, a rogue state or a terrorist holds people hostage and demands a ransom, the recipient of the ransom note faces a wrenching choice. Paying the ransom may free the hostages, but the hostage-taker will be encouraged to do it again.Congress is facing a similar quandary. If it complies with the president’s demand for a $5.7 billion border wall, it may successfully ransom the livelihoods of the 800,000 federal employees he is holding hostage. But won’t that teach him he can use the same strategy any time he can’t get the deal he wants?

  • We are not even into February and the cost of illegal immigration so far this year is $18,959,495,168. Cost Friday was $603,331,392. There are at least 25,772,342 illegal aliens, not the 11,000,000 that have been reported for years, in our Country. So ridiculous! DHS

  • We have a businessman for president. Donald Trump went bankrupt numerous times and made money. However, the creditors did not and the employees did not get paid.

This is just like the more than 800,000 employees he now employs. The recently ended governemnt [sic] shutdown nearly caused another bankruptcy to the workers and possibly the U.S.

Mr. Trump has no feelings for others, only for himself. He has ice in his veins. His feet, heels, legs and whatever kept him from his military duty still bothers him.

Vice President Mike Pence said leaving Syria was under way and the Islamic State was on the run but did not mention the recent dead military that the ISIS killed the same day as his speech. Is he that oblivious? We need the Senate to be concerned about the citizens of America, not Mr. Trump.

  • Only fools, or people with a political agenda, don’t want a Wall or Steel Barrier to protect our Country from Crime, Drugs and Human Trafficking. It will happen – it always does!
