My beloved Arizona Wildcats (22-7) lost again this past week, which caused them to fall to 19th in the ranking. The team has been disappointing since early in the season.

Kudos to Gov. Jay Inslee. At the Washington, D.C., meeting with state governors, he told President Donald Trump in a straightforward, courteous way that teachers he had spoken to were not in favor of having armed colleagues in the classroom. He also suggested that Trump do more listening and less tweeting.
All the while, Trump folded his arms and put on a stern, belligerent face showing his dislike of the governor’s comments. I could almost see the thought bubble above Trump’s head saying, “This clown didn’t receive the memo saying that all who approach me must flatter me first.”
Good on you, governor, for your courage.

I want to encourage all of my many Texas friends to vote in the primary for Governor Greg Abbott, Senator Ted Cruz, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, and Attorney General Ken Paxton. They are helping me to Make America Great Again! Vote early or on March 6th.

To the editor:
Goldberg poses an interesting "character theory" to refute why some actions of Trump and his allies rise to the level of conspiracy.
So I'm all in favor of reading his sequel column that explains why Trump and so many people in his inner circle lied repeatedly about their contacts with Russia, attempted to establish a clandestine Russian communications back channel, and authored a bogus story about the Donald Trump Jr. meeting with the Russians to get dirt on Hillary Clinton, to name a few points.
Oh, and while he's at it, he can throw in an explanation of why Trump continued to praise Vladimir Putin in December 2016 after the Russian president decided not to retaliate in response to new U.S. sanctions. But this time, it was clear Trump would need to forestall future business opportunities with Russia indefinitely.
