I have come to the conclusion that running and getting elected is the noblest of professions, set with the lowest bar possible. We have elected Donald Trump as president, and he has put that bar about as low as it can go.
Eric Greitens comes in as an ex-Navy SEAL with a gun, and he gets elected. He has followed Trump’s example with dark money and excuses to maintain secrecy. Kansas has Kris Kobach. Need I say more?
To our precious elected officials, transparency is a nice word that means nothing. When you don’t vote, people of dubious nature get elected. Mike Cierpiot and his backers spent nearly $1 million to Hillary Shields’ $48,000, and barely won the Missouri state Senate seat. It was money, not Republican values.
On and on it goes, with tons of verbiage but no action. Term limits are an alternative, but with those currently in power, this will never happen.
I have also come to the conclusion we need to get rid of both parties. They are as crooked as those who are elected. When you don’t vote, this is what we all get—and probably deserve.

Democrats refusal to give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts is why we need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama. We need his vote on stopping crime, illegal immigration, Border Wall, Military, Pro Life, V.A., Judges 2nd Amendment and more. No to Jones, a Pelosi/Schumer Puppet!

A Different Kind of Truth (2012). This song has grown on me.

Sen. Pat Toomey, responding to a letter I sent, reminded me that Hillary Clinton said that “we owe him [Donald Trump] an open mind and the chance to lead.” In response, I shared my opinion that Mr. Trump has relinquished that opportunity.
Almost a year has gone by and he has so clearly shown how inept he is in leading, supporting, inspiring and managing. He doesn’t even understand the bills that he pushes my representatives to pass.
Where is Mr. Toomey? He seems to be in hiding and not speaking up about a president who is “off the rails” on so many subjects. Mr. Trump is delusional about himself and his behavior, he lies daily, and he discriminates against minorities. He perpetuates erroneous conspiracy theories, criticizes our international friends, incites our international enemies and couldn’t manage an organization that he doesn’t own. He is a daily embarrassment and a “clear and present danger” to the United States and the world.
He has been labelled “a moron” by a Cabinet member. He is the type of person whom I would avoid like the plague, and here I am, having to endure him widely flailing around on the world stage as the U.S. president. His infantile behavior and name-calling are disgusting and embarrassing. This is what a badly behaved child does on the playground.
I can only believe that Mr. Toomey is accepting of Mr. Trump and his behavior, which he seems to excuse, and that his only goal is to keep his job, while in hiding. In the future, I will do my best to support monetarily and verbally any candidate who opposes Mr. Toomey.
