Here is a New York Times story about Alex Rodriguez, a.k.a. A-Rod, Choke-Rod, A-Fraud, and Choke-Fraud. I haven't heard anything from Yankee fans, a number of whom (John, David, Paul, Hawk) read this blog. What are you thinking? What are you feeling? Do you wish Rodriguez were gone? Is he becoming an impediment to winning a World Series? I should add that in 2003, when Rodriguez is alleged to have tested positive for steroids, he played for my adoptive team, the Texas Rangers. I don't recall any rumors about steroid use by Rodriguez; nor did it ever cross my mind while watching him play that he might be cheating. Here is the 2003 Texas Rangers roster. Two of Rodriguez's teammates that year, Juan Gonzalez and Rafael Palmeiro, have been accused of using performance-enhancing substances. Is it possible that several players were cheating?
