This is a special post. I'll explain why later.

Addendum: This was the first post I've written from somewhere other than home. I bought an Acer "netbook" yesterday and spent several hours during the evening getting it up and running. I was on campus today for a lecture, so I decided to get online with the computer in the lecture hall, which is wired for the Internet. I had no idea whether I'd be able to do so, but I did. I composed the (short) post during the lecture, but didn't want to elaborate until later. I'm home now. Ain't technology amazing? By the way, the Acer is not a leash, like the cellphone you own. I don't understand why someone would want to be accessible to the whole world. Access is power. To have access to X is to have power over X. Nobody has power over me.
