I leave you this fine evening with a column by Donald Lambro. The thing progressives hated most about Hillary Clinton is her willingness to triangulate. Progressives hate compromise, which smacks of reform rather than revolution. They want it all and they want it now. They thought Barack Obama would deliver. He has not. He has run up against a wall of opposition from the American people—the very people who can, and will, deny him a second term. This infuriates progressives. They want President Obama to ram socialized medicine down Americans' throats, even if it means electoral defeat in 2012. If Obama has any sense, he'll move to the center. This could lead to a Democrat challenge in 2012, by someone like Howard Dean. But wait! Won't it be racist for progressives to oppose Obama? It was racist when conservatives opposed Obama.
