This morning, having risen at 5:10 (by which time it was already 84º), I did a bike rally in Weatherford, Texas, which is the seat of Parker County. The rally is held in conjunction with the Parker County Peach Festival. Afterward, I went with my friends Joe and Phil to buy fresh peaches. Here (click to enlarge) is some of the produce. What should Katherine and I do with our peaches, besides (1) eat them raw and (2) make cobbler? There must be other ways to prepare peaches.
Addendum: Oh. My. God. Katherine's peach cobbler was divine. I put Cool Whip on mine. Katherine put Blue Bell vanilla ice cream on hers.
