I got to wondering during today's bike ride how many hours I spent in the saddle in 2016, when I rode 6,288 miles. I estimate my average speed at 16.5 miles per hour. That makes 381.0 hours, or two weeks, one day, and 21 hours (out of 52 weeks). Nobody would put that much time into something without liking it. I love cycling.
