Bicycle 8I had a good month on the bike. Today's ride of 35.2 miles gives me 524 miles for May (in 15 rides), which is an average of 16.9 miles per day and 118.3 miles per week. I saw a rabbit and several squirrels today, but no snakes or bobcats. I talked recently to the man who monitors and manages the bobcat population in River Legacy Park. He told me that there were more than 30 bobcats at one point, but only six now. That's sad. He seems to know each bobcat as an individual. When I mentioned that a bobcat had come up to me while I was eating my cheese crackers, he knew exactly who she was. He said she's a 13-year-old and that her den may have been destroyed by construction workers. I asked how long bobcats live, and he said as long as 20 years. They're capable of breeding the entire time. What're y'all doin' for exercise?
